i agree with mico,most buyers want discount even you offer them your lowest price ,they don't believe your price at beginning ,they are smart.

i don't think when you got  a price from your boss then you add 3-5% to quote for your customer !if the price is so high you will lose any choice to communicate with your clients.because your clients think your price is so high that you can't do business even you will reduce the price for him !   so every quotation please be discreet !
