labeling requirements for products made in China
Exporters Export and Importers import the products that have a "made in china" label on each part shipped.

Once the product is unwrapped at the importer's destination, the "made in china"

identification is removed.
Once the products are assembled and installed, there is no

reference anywhere to the fact that the products were made in China.

Do importers need to re-label this assembled product, with a single tag stating

or can they take the approach that since it has passed customs, there is no longer a need to identify it.

Not familar with the local regulation but usually every product need to have to label -where it is made from. In most of the business laws, if the cost of the assembling or installing reaches a certain percentage of the total cost, say 50% or maybe sometimes 30%, you can say it is made in US or UK instead of China. But you also need to put a label on your product for retail
