packing list(urgent)

yesterday I have some goods to be despatched to india. Actually it is two components of automotive. But when packing, they have been welded together. They are a assembly. I made the packing list as usual: two description of goods, one gross /net weight and one measures. However, when I send the original docs to the logistics, they told  me they can not declear the customs since according to the rule of the customs,if there are two kinds of goods description, there must be gross/net weight to each component. Is that true?Should I remake the packing list, just to change the gross/net weight? Hope someone can give me some advise on this issue. Thanks

Thanks. But "Two components , two gross/net weight may be better"  Is that mean I can just use "one gross/net weight" since the two parts can a assembly and be welded together
