What should I do?
We made some samples for a Italy client and sent them to his Italy company. He gave no comments on them, and now he said he would like give us a order with small quantity. But our suppliers made several molds which need lots of money for those other samples.I hope he will order more about other samples,What should I do?

He is a new client, and he said he should be very interesting to move immediately some collections or at least one of his to our Factory. But he thought it is better and correct to continue and manage these Collections where they have been developed from their current Suppliers.:(

ask him to pay the mold tooling fee
ask him to pay the mold tooling fee if he really want to buy this product.Business man will never lose money in doing business.

Before you sent the samples, you should come to an agreement on the price of the samples. And the client's decision is beyond our reach. But you can recommend to your client and persuade them to order other samples.Remenber do it in a proper and moderate way.

Tell your customer all of the cost to make these molds and ask if they could order more to decrease the cost, actually you should make sure of the cost and quotation firstly, or you would have to take out money from your own pocket to make up. :Q

Generally speaking,we pay the mold charge. If the quantity of the order is big,it is ignored.

just take it for further consideration,as a new client,to place a small order to u is normal, maybe the bigger one will come next!
