I shared below tips with my team members when I left Polytree.
Iy{.G
U:o:D
:\wR]7J5t"HT
* To know more about your products and their processing technology (so that you can introduce these things to your customers during their visits to fty)FR4k3JuN
u.hU'](Zp9{
and you can do some on-site checks of packaging at the beginning of each mass-production lWixF0C
K ]B@Z-q
D
* familiar with your customers and the whole working procedures of as a merchandiser
l3R7|/FHVf%sDF
so you can ask the customer and fty to act as per your rhythm, but not be pushed by them

At that time, everyday was quite busy, tens of e-mails, double check of quotations, orders, packing details (shipping mark, artwork, instruction sheets, etc), samples arrangement (for approval, or testing), inspection arrangement, to push fty to complete the mass-production as per schedule (many problems will occur, do your best to solve them one by one);f\WuZ,~c*L:|

Then another turn of meeting, sample and quotation, etc.

By the way
`w6@B(w)D-HQZ
3w6X6^ _{7g
* piles of Guide things to read, such as packaging guide, shipping guide, each big customer has at least one or two booklets
}.L;Zv1_tj8@.O
7m0JSb8Lso7V
* And they also have their own quotation sheets, I have to read the instruction and make everything clear first, at least 3 turns of offer and counter-offer, some last for more than 3 months, samples revised again and again, some also need on-line quote to finalize

And then you will feel too many things, too little time for just one head and two hands, if only I could be copied~#~

Most importantly, I should handle them all with priorities, and always be careful enough to avoid any mistakes

and the best thing to do as a sales tech is to find customers - and if starting use an online guide to teach you how best to do that - there are millions online that you can use to teach you for free. But all will tell you emailing is not a good way and in fact phone calls are much better if ur company allows them.
