How do you do if customer ask your persoanl affairs?

sometimes I find that some customers will ask some persoanl affairs, such as marriage, age. I can't bear this kind of questions.

I agree with you ,some customers from oversea clients always ask pensonal questioins.Many of them will ask you sent him a photo.I will ask them too if they ask me these questions.I think clients can be your friends,sometime you want to talk many things with them but no only products .Then the relation will be closer than before,it 's better to you work.:lol

Some of them you can make friends with him cuz it is boring to talk about business all the time..one of my customer always talk about his family & so do i..now i am get along well with his wife & children..

If the customer has done business for long time, you may make close relations with them, maybe you can get more orders from them, it is best way to keep relations with them.

It is inevitable to be refered to some private questions by your clients.As a foreign trade staff,you should establish good relations with them.But it doesn't mean that you should satisfy their requirements with no reservation. treat different people with different manners.Since some of your clients did so just for curiosity. The most important thing is that you should stick to your principle. As regard to some light-minded questions, you can also say"no".

friendly client should ask friendly questions

it is very useful to your business , just make friends with them.

i do no remind like this thing if communicate pleasure each other and get their order in the future!

The most important is that we should be sincere to them and it does not influence our business, sometime only because we are boring,or they want to make friends with us,it's normal .:)

I will be a little unhappy when my client ask me about the peraonal questions. Yesterday, one customer of UK asked me whether I look nice or single.I told him directly that I don't want to talk about more private affair but products.Seems that he was sulkiness after hearing what I said. Maybe I am wrong. But am I wrong?

For some foreigners this is just a way of showing that they are curious and would like to establish a good relationship with you. A relationship where you can talk about everything and not only about business. This is the way to friendship and a more trustworthy business relationship

i never met such problem before,except one of client mentioned his daughter to me and i ask him to send to a photo for a reference coz i am going to have a baby this Oct.,she was really a nice girl and said all the nice words,not flatter.

YLFONc2v } 1.Normally keep distance.Business is business,never take  it as personal affair,never mention something personal thing to your clients,especially for the opposite sex,you are not making gf/bf,y are doing some selling,it is not necessary to share personal thing to them,except you'd like to,but i think it is not really wise to let yourself in it, it may gonna be a mess,especailly for the girls,i used to hear that story before,in fact,one of my client is seemed very intimate to the girl with the girl in there ningbo office,while she takes hand on it and ask high commision to the factory,of course,the business goes not so well,even goes down.I met them in the canton fair this April,it seems the relationship goes not so well for them.(story only for reference)@e4w$cz
2.If the client ask you personal thing,you have the right to keep silence.Especially for girls,it is normal that clients have interest to young ladies,if i were the client,i may do it too.However,as sales himself,i think you should take your rignts and keep silence or refuse the client directly:5IL3fff2Cv

3.Of course,i do not mean to stop the share for everything with old clients,that you know him well.It is worthwile to talk with everyday life with them if time permit,you may learn a lot of different culture and ways to deal with problem,but we should always remember that work is always on the first step.

It depands.If you are a girl,you should take it serious,since there are so many lady-killer as your customer.But if you are a man,it's ok.Just do it:lol
