[2008]My Australian Customer

[size=5][size=5][color=DarkGreen]The first time I knew this Australian customer is in last December.At that time,I just had almost one month??s experience to be an international salesman.So I was still not very familiar to the foreign trade.Our company is an industry&trade limited corporation,our main line is silicone products,except our specialty,we need to buy products from other factories,and then we resell the products to our customers.No doubtly,the products we reselled don??t have the advantage in price. Our company has Alibaba??s platform.Every day,our manager can get some inquiries from the platform automatically.And then,she will distribute those inquires to us.As I was a rookie in this field at that time,our manager usually didn??t dare to distribute important inquiries to me.

p?z|\S2G On one day of December,I received this Australian customer??s inquiry from my manager.In his inquiry,the products he need are not what we can produce.But I still gave him a formal reply immediately.To my surprise,he sent me another email,it said ?¡ãCould you offer us your website??¡ÀI said?¡Àof couse?¡À,and sent our website and some other information about our company to him.6FGv ^3ls O#|0e

The next day,he said he could only see few products that he need on our website.That meant he couldn??t believe that we can offer him the best price and products.I said we can either supply from ready made stock or can custom produce your required product.But in the following days,I didn??t receive his emails any more.I thought the business between us has gone.[/color][/size][/size]6f3F:DG-LO(^@

[size=5][color=Green]On one day of February,I suddenly saw his trade manager was online,I requested to add him,he added me.I typed ?¡ãHello!Have you found the golden suppliers for the products you need??¡À,He replyed?¡ÀNot yet!?¡ÀI said?¡ÀWould you consider us to have a try??¡À,and he said?¡ÀPlease give me your email address and I will send our products information to you?¡À.I offered him my email address and was waiting for his email.But unfortunately,I didn??t receive email from him for several days!I thought he was cheating on me.

After another few days,I suddenly received a message from him on trade manager,He said?¡ÀPlease check your mailbox,I have sent our products information to it and also I will ask my colleague in China to send our samples for your reference on next Tuesday.?¡ÀI opened my mailbox immediatedly,yes!I received an email from him!The email he sent to me was long and included many pictures.But some words under the letter astonished me.It was contact information about some suppliers he have found in China!SxB/_#C'S L&r

I knew this customer was comparing price and I had already have some potential competitors.What should I do?We couldn??t produce those products he need,so our price can??t be competitive.Give up?or have a try?[/color][/size]

[size=5][color=Green]At last,I decided to have a try and had prepared to expect shockbacks.I said after we received his samples we will offer him our best price.But again,in the following days,we didn??t get any samples from his colleague in China.I started to contact my Australian customer,and send him emails and messages.But It seemed he wasn??t willing to send us samples.He said many suppliers in China said they can produce what he need,but after he sent his products to them..They said they could not produce,those suppliers were wasting his time and money.I said?¡ÀPlease give us a chance,we will do our best to provide what you need.?¡ÀAt last,he was persuaded to promise to send us the samples he have.|Z x6O {s

[size=5][color=Green]At the same time,my Australian customer sent me a message said?¡Àwhen can you give us quotation??¡ÀI said?¡ÀAllow me to take a few minutes to prepare and collect informaton?¡À,and then,I try to separate the samples we received and filled all the information we got into a spreadsheet.That work took me almost half day.Nothing is impossible to a willing heart,at last,I made a perfect spreadsheet,it included all information that we had already had and informaton that my customer cared off.As my expected,my Australian customer said?¡Àyou are very professional!!

[size=5][color=Green]As to sample fee,there was an episode.At the beginning,we just want to charge USD 50 as the sample fee,but my customer said he couldn??t transfer USD 50,the minimum amounts is USD 100.So he required us to offer him more samples.I discussed this with my boss,he agreed.t^+afh%jB0_$P+\
I sent my Australian customer our bank accounts and asked him to send bank slip back to us.He did it in the same day.I checked the bank slip carefully,astonished again,I found the bank accounts shown on the bank slip missed a ?¡ã0?¡À![/color][/size]
