Just ask your customer to do T/T with you this time.%x2HN9T'g

8d6R{N$P@,~.N Meantime, have they remitted the deposit to you?we only start our mass production upon the copy of L/C.

In my humble opinion. It is the problem of your customer, because he/she has not open the L/C.

N QdQm You can have a discussion with him/her first, and let him/her know what the step you will take will be better since the deadline is here. If he/she still insist on L/C, they, the deadline should be put off.

I think that discussion is the most inportant before making any altenative. And after that, he/she will feel your professional. Also, you can keep this customer for future.

Sorry, I have not had an experience of L/C before, but in the future I look forward to  doing L/C terms and learn more about it. As it is quiet useful in the international trade.

generally speaking, we should try our best to reduce the adventure.Sometimes, business is business, when we have aready signed up the contract, every part should do as the contract, if they didn't follow the contract, you can also make some changes.
