<share> be sincere to your customer
browse the data of every company, you would find one sentence like this--We sincerely hope to establish good business relationship with you, etc. but how to show your sincerity, it is a question. here are two point summarized in the process of my communication with my customer! C:y-e$n

first, please pay attention to your appellation about yourself. sometimes, using "we" is much better than "i", when your customer is reading your letter, he would have a sense that all your company give enough recognition to him. then favor has rised in his mind from the9{

good first impression. other things will go on favoringly, although your price is a little bit higher than others.

second, give them a feeling that you are considering things for the sake of their benefit. for instance, these days, i made a trade with an Ecuadorian, the payment must be T/T40%, for the usage of this new product with such specs is not used widely in the market, then my customer insisted on T/T30%. I told him that this is our manager's rule, how about T/T35%, if ok, i will try my best to persuade my manager. at last, i won!QrXFM(pNm4C-\
any other good suggestion, please share with us! thx~~

Yes,sincerity is rather important when you want to establish business relationship with a new customer.Above two points Rib mentioned are good suggestions.Well,in my mind,just reply customer's email at your soonest,whatever you are in hand at that moment,not keep others to waiting so long time,in some instance,it can show your big sincerity and importance on them,so that's why some enterprises just send auto-email when receive email,i think it is a good way.

I can't agree that we should use "we "instead of "I " in our business letter. I think it depends. if letter really talk about something happens between customer and me, I mightl use "we". but be carefull, sometimes, "we" do cause misunderstanding.

Writing a Business Letter

The term "business letter" makes people nervous. Many people with English as a second language worry that their writing is not advanced enough for business writing. This is not the case. An effective letter in business uses short, simple sentences and straightforward vocabulary. The easier a letter is to read, the better. You will need to use smooth transitions so that your sentences do not appear too choppy.XJ^r%i*EQ*?"e

Salutation
MJp^KK
First and foremost, make sure that you spell the recipient's name correctly. You should also confirm the gender and proper title. Use Ms. for women and Mr. for men. Use Mrs. if you are 100% sure that a woman is married. Under less formal circumstances, or after a long period of correspondence it may be acceptable to address a person by his or her first name. When you don't know the name of a person and cannot find this information out you may write, "To Whom It May Concern". It is standard to use a comma (colon in North America) after the salutation. It is also possible to use no punctuation mark at all. Here are some common ways to address the recipient:WQqnk3?? _
