hehe, yes, some times I have funny experience eating outside with foreign customers, too. I'm pressed one time with my nigerian friends. They are warmly and friendly, really just like friends, I think I like them.:)

i still remenber my first boss.. he is a Italian men ..around 42 years old .. one time ..we go to Jiangsu province for business trip  .. we met the factory manage after the dinner and went to A8 bar in Nanjing ...the factory's manage called a lot of business guy came. and join in us ..caus i am act in  purchaser and translater also .. most of they can not understand English ...actully .in these time .. i have a long time haven't touch English .. and  only can translate a few simple words .sentence:loveliness: .. after one hour . i can feel they are drunk.. caus each min the guy let me told my boss : we're brother ..  we're brother ..  again and again :Q :L T|IV4lE

This week i met my first client who come from syria. My manager ordered a lot of vegetable foods. when the plates reached the table one by one, we found that almost every course has a little meat, which was used to make the course more delicious. Finally a fried lotus root came and we told him it was vegetable, then he began to eat. but suddenly, we found that there is shrimp between the two pieces of the lotus root and a "warm-hearted" one told him. it contained shrimp meat.
$r%u ?!ZWt4EJ Then he stop eating and folded his arms before his chest and had his mouth full of air just like an unhappy child. We wanted to order a new course for him, but he said that he had violated the religion rule and he had to fast for 2 hours. So when we were eating happily yet he had to sit there like a child who was bullied.

it is very funny,but I think you should not make a mistake like that.

Recently an Australian customer found me from made-in-china. And we connected with each other by email for about a month. finally   he came to China and visited our factory. He ordered 2 items (   each 10 pcs) as a try order. It is much more smaller than our minimum order quantity, but it  is my first customer and it is our first cooperation, we agreed that we will prepare the  material after receiving     the 30% deposit. Since the payment is not big and he will be back to Australia 10 days later. He decided to pay it by cash at once in    our factory. Of course, it may need commission charge to use master card. Then he decided to T/T as soon as he arrived in his office.   After he came back to Australia, he didn't connect me for a few days. When I asked him whether he have been back to Australia. He   said yes, but the AUD at its lowest, it is not good to do import...........   Firstly i am talking about my first time of meeting Indian customer in the hotel, that time, i was not alone, i went there with two colleagues and the sales manager, that's why i was not nervous during the meeting, as i had not said much, i was only listenning. Actually i did not know much what the customer said, at that time my english was really poor. During the meeting, the customer asked me one question ' do you know xx', because i had been working in the company only few days, i don't know that guy, so i did not know how to answer his question, he repeated three times, then turned to my colleague ' does not she know english'. i answered quite quickly this time' no, no, no.' he was very surprised with my answer that made me very nervous. Even though i had not say much during the first meeting with my foreign customer, it gave me deep impression.6e*S R!F\6n]C4N"X:M0o
  Now, i will talk about the first time to go to India. Every time i recall the time i have spent in India, it likes a nightmare for me. i went to there with my bigest boss for negotiation purpose with thress clients which we scheduled staying three days there. The place we had been in is bangalore, it's called 'silicon valley'. The first sight came into my eyes was a big mess and terrible traffic, a lot of motorcycles slowly moving in the street that made big traffic problem. The house are old and small. We had spent more than one hour on the way to the hotel.8s2p{h] W%J3j
  After arriving the hotel i was very tired with 8 hours flight and one hour in the car. And next i needed to think about the meeting next day, really exhausted...

o   The second day in India i had planed to visit the one of the biggest customers. The customer's company located in the countryside of Bangalore which took one and half hour buy car.The worse thing was i did not like the smell of their perfume in the car which made me vomit many times till nothing in stomach...

I have had dinner together with my boss, coworkers and the foreign customers for many times, unfortunately, I did nothing but just kept smile during the supper as my poor oral English, and I didn’t know when was the right time to say something and what to say. On the other hand, I realized that my colleagues were keep silence as well except my boss. :L Oh my god, it is extremely stupid and terrible, I don’t know what the customers were thinking about us.:(  !|B&zpx-tD

Till now, I am still a little bit nervous when I speak to the foreigners especially in public. I found out that I can speak much better when I stay alone with a foreigner, and most of them are very kind even a customer told me that my pronunciation is very good.
