i am a newbie as the export sales perosn ,and i have been working for nearly 4 months .actually, i just graduated from the university ,this is my first job,thus ,i cherish it very much. however,the fact is not my ideal ,i dun know how to deal with my job ,furthernore ,my manager told me that there was no one would give me sth to do ,that is to say ,i have to learn by myself.what should i do?pls give me a hand.

As your manager said that no one can give you a job to do ! so you must realize that you have to set up the job relation by yourself and find what position as you are clearly if you want to work at there !

The same with me.This is my first job,too.I cherish it as you do.I also encounter the situation you just meet.That is,you have to do your work by yourself.It's true.The reality is the reality.We can't rely on others to help you actively.You must learn everything by yourself.It's absolutely different with the college.So try your best to get familiar with your job.Come on!:)

I had the  same feeling like you when I was just in the import and export company , many and many thing I do not know , and the colleage is busy all the time, or many thing they do not know either .you know that many people must study the knowledge when they work , it is very immport ,you is growing when you work .so many people feel  the press from work .

I changed my job three times. The first job is a technical work. but I wantted to be a sales exporter. so I changed my job to do sell machinery. It is too difficult to operate this kind of machine. I turned my product to be textile. Now in fact I am appreciated with our company provide more times fair. but I can not bear our leader. an old man who is a extremely biantai .

i agree with you very much. so we must prepare for the opportunity that is coming. we shoulb seize them and get benefit from them.

in fact,this thing is normal for fesher especially just coming out the university's student. last march,i looked for a new work and the work is suitable for my major. i am very glad to have a good job.but everything is not what we want ,i have no old colleagues to teach me.

That's the very common for a Freshman just into a new company. So 1st thing you should is getting good relationship with your colleague, and try to help them do something, watching & lerarning how they do. You will be getting familar with them day by day, and  business too.  Not very long time, you can be surpised to find you've become an OK Salesman from an Assistant.
