help, what can we do ?

I am a new comer,this is the first time I come to here to post ,i found most of people in the FOB english forum is very professional and warmhearted ,right?

)Y!s zg_;m5J(O This days,our company encountered some unexcepted affairs,it seems that we cann't slove the problems for this moment, So i want to discuss this problem with you.

we shipped 5 containers to UAE  in March, and we have received all of the payment(almost USD1,000,000) from the customers. but last month, the customer called my boss and said there are about 50% of the goods cannot work . They decided to return all of the goods to china or pay 50% of the total amount to them,it's impossible,there is a large loss for us,so my boss promised to pay USD10,000 as  compensation.but they reject to accept  this suggestion.f OI4Kz4wB?fu

Yesterday, one of the customers come to our company to solve this problem,he looks very innocent,he said he have invested all of his money in this business,but my boss's attitude is very strong and said it's no way to  return the goods to china.m`r4y;v[8on

First, your boss and you must know the reason why the goods do not work.

Confirm the affair, confirm the duty, then find a method. Don't hurry, some time, the best method is leaving it to a certain time.

if it's quality problem , i think , reputation is more important than loss. yes, you will loss money_hY!o_ NUW

if its the quality problem, surely your company need to find good way to solve it. KU3{ L8`;h,c
As we can find that the products value is pretty high and the customer seems single-hearted with the business, just try to discuss with your boss what does he think and his bottom line, if this problem can not solve you may lost this customer.

1. find out the reason why the products can not work and keep in mind that if it can be repaired, you can ask the _ RR/H4UT^9d z\O
customer to send one sample of the disable product for your checking.

2. we all know if return the products back is very expensive and inconvenient, also you can explain it your customer. if it can be repaired, after know the real reason, , if possible ask one of your engineer to visit with you to your customer to teach them how to repair, or just give an detailed report of how to repair. 2EvHJaA

3. if it can not be repaired, agree to give some discount of this order and will deduct it from your next order. 0?/e7@0VCl$I
