IMPORT RULES - SECEX

All importers have to register with the SECEX  - The Foreign Trade Secretariat - and usually need to get prior authorization from SISCOMEX for each consignment of import, which is valid for 90 days. The SECEX controls the prices of the imported products with price quotes on the international market. SISCOMEX - The Integrated Trade System ¡§C will not allow foreign currency payments for imported products, which are unreasonably costly.
