my experience
i am a green hand in the foreign trade field, but i think i get the most opporunity in my current factory.

i became the employee in this factory since three months ago,and i attended the Shanghai Exhibition after one week i joined the factory, so i tried to remember the expert word of the products and then went to shanghai. i met many foreigner and took photos with them, but after i came back i didn't know how to process with them, i only sent email to everyone whoes business card in my hand. No response, and sent again, little reply by chance and then sink.After one month, my manager quit, all the business fall on my shoulder. But i still can't find effective way to establish business with clients. Next month,my boss wanna me go to Hongkong for attending Hongkong exhibition with him. i think i have obtained much more chance that most new foreign trader never obtain,but i can't make most use of it.'b'r8N8q-w8G H
Is there any one who can give me some suggestion or help me to make a plan.

you can try to contact the clients by calling or sending fax,but not only via email.before sending the email,you should know the client well,it maybe learn from the business card,you can gain the main idea of what kind of client,disturbe or finally clients,only knowing them well,can u set up the right mind,and send them

As how to proceed with the customers, just work with patience,that needs time.

you are so lucky without the tough process .i think if you are an professional in your products ,everything will be much more smoothly .the clients haven't replied you because it is not the right time for them in my opinion

I think the most urgent thing you need to do is learn more about your product, the more the better, such as the selling point of the product, the performance, the technical data, the material, the production process, the quality control system etc.

Since you have chance to communicate with the overseas buyer face to face, you must improve you listening and spoken English, especially some special expression in foreign trade, such as some expression about the term of payment, the delivery, the lead time, the package, the quality, the quantity and so on.

Besides these things, you must work hard, careful. Don't let your boss disappointed.

tks everybody, i will study your kindly suggestions. but now the problem is that i almost can't bring any profit to my factory moreover, i was informed that the boss salaried me yesterday, i really don't know what should i do, everyday i try to study more professional knowledge but i can't receive any enquiry all the day. is this the factory problem,i thought,because our factory has no certificate. but my ex-manager still can do her job very well before i employed with the same condition,so there must be something wrong with myself. i try my best everyday but i don't know how many days,how many opportunity my boss will leave me.
