customers' target price

We always can receive the target price from our customer in our business, and we also do the best to accept it for the order. The following was matter I have experienced.

--I received the inquiry from a client, and then I gave him a quotation as usually @K ^9x-^l]]
--The person replied and complaint the price is too high, and said that the other factory quoted more lower price
&?^_!o%] mbe'Y --As you know, the market is so competitive now and we usually quote our better price to customers, right? The price I had quoted is really competitive, as we are the factory, I know the cost of products and also know the price of another factorys. So I replied the client and required him to let me know the price of another factory/vA/j%GN
--He sent me the price of another factory, also gave me his target price($0.50 lower than another factory's price). It is so cheap. Unbelievable:L It is really unacceptable for us. So I reply him that we can not supply the item at his target price and also ask for the another factory's name. As I know the almost of the factory about this product.(e5fBZRZ$_&P i0p0iAM

--26days after(yesterday), I sent the email to him again for asking the factory's name:lol  As I was very confused. He replied and said "The price was for last June , and the price is become 8% higher now, please send to us your best price so we can place our order for this month with you. " When I received the email, I :L :L :L (we began to contact in July, and the tax rebate was adjusted from July 01. The cost is 8%higher than before for our products) h q

It's difficult for us to sell at buyers target price,but we can negotiate with them. Let him know the situation of china market price.
