X4Cc@2I^Ll When you quote the price, you can raise about 3% to 5% . For example, the price you get from your boss or others is US$10,when you quote the price, it maybe US$10.3 or US$10.5. Although you can decide the cost, you can raise the price a little.:victory: :victory:

If you think 3% to 5% is too much, you can raise 1% to 3%.

Maybe it's a good way to raise the price a little then cut down a little.
q4e jd(k But I'm afraid when you quote the raised price the customer will not give you a chance to negotiate with him/her.

i agree with mico, most buyers want discount even you offer them your lowest price ,they don't believe your price at beginning ,they are smart.

2007-8-17 16:53 amy-lei
People always cut price at a shop but not at a supermarket. Because everything is marked price clearly at a supermarket. They never accept any negotiation on price.
.P _!t:y'`daoY Maybe we can imitate it.

common question as we are

2007-8-23 10:48 jacleesl
i don't think when you got  a price from your boss then you add 3-5% to quote for your customer !if the price is so high you will lose any choice to communicate with your clients.because your clients think your price is so high that you can't do business even you will reduce the price for him !:)   so every quotation please be discreet !

I think for the first time, you give your customers the best price is better..........

2007-8-29 17:53 xuhao1109
yeah, price is important, but i think the impress you give the clients is most important.

2007-8-30 10:54 forever1907
to some extent,it is up to the specific client we meet&cO0x+R)KvX2a
the indian client may prefer to bargin very much,so we should raise the price a bit
s:kk&@B&q Q a9|6c to cater to his taste
RF%B|jO N"o also we should also consider whether the client is kind of dealer only or he is the final client
"{gL? M2m w-F-e all in all,it is depends
g f;H2jV"rSi we should know the client well first,and make the right decision u@3L~ | C |V o
time and exprience will teach us how to go on

We have talk about this qusetion for a long time. I almost think we are wasting time. The answer is you should deal with it flexibly. You are a businessman. I don't think there is any doubt! Any successful businessmen is because they can treat the things according to the situation.

i also agree with mico,it is a good way!)tY*bz7I|
most customers care about the price,so we need treat the different clients in different ways.
