It really helped me a lot, not only i learned some new words, but also i made a lot of friends, including my teacher. what's more,i have improved my self-confidence a lot. i really appreciate teachers there ,they are very patient ,funny ,kind and funny ,i don't know how to discribe it.   :\)U*Qz,}%Tc

fu6J before i knew little about foreign, but now i know much than before, although i still can't say lots of it. during my stay in glv, everyone kept an journal everyday. i  can write whatever i want, it's really fun,, maybe you can't see your progress clearly, of course u can't, but latter you will find you have improved a lot. Studying english needs perseverance, you should form a good habit.

GLV provides a good environment for us, wherever you go, you should speak english, the computer in AA &TV programmes in dormitery.sometimes, you don't know how to discribe what you want to say. It's really a hard time for you, but when you make yourself enderstood,you 'll feel really happy. If you don't know how to discribe, just use your body language, then you will know a new word, don't let it go, just make a note, using your own words to discribe it in english. When you need to use it again, it doesn't matter if you can't remember, just refer to the notebook,i think if you have done it several times,you can't forget it.9Hia)G'u&Q d

GLV,the biggist difference with other english school is it is a total immersion village,like a big family.staying there you can feel the care from your friends, the teachers and the stuffs.you can make friends with all the pelple in GLV.you can talk with them in class, over meals, during the tea break. you can talk about your job,your family your friends with anybody,they won't refuse to talk with you. everyone don't want to lose the chance to speak,so just speak up!s7R"qT3t

GLV also help you to know how to learn english by yourself and how to keep it when you leave there.the people there may inspire u, because you can find someone who have learned there for a long time and they never give up . they have the real passion for english. some of them still can't speak every well,but they are not ashamed to speak up ,althouth few people can understand them.many teachers have said: if you don't make mistakes,you will not succeed,so welcome to make mistakes! i also know a teacher's second name is ASK,it means any time you have a problem ,you should ask,no matter how foolish it is,just do it.in GLV  i just feel i always be boosted self-confidence , how happy i was when i made something i had done.

i&iX;m_    Today is my second day in GLV. i find myself improved. i can spesk up to express what i want to say .what's more,i can joke with teachers and schoolmates.i like BRAD,a teacher of my morning skilled teacher.i also like LAURIE,he taught me a lot .
N.Ae mw`HB#jk    At the begining of the evening class,LAURIE wrote his name at the top of the board first, second he wrote "please don't help".third, the  sentence is NO CHINESE.then he said a lot,which i think the general idea is  listening to others , speaking up and not being afaid of making mistakes  is every important .we talked everthing.he told us that we should pay attention to all the small things around us.he is very patient.when we talked about "mineral",i didn't know the meaning.so he explained,he wrote "Mg Fe Ca......'on the board,i still could't understand because i couldn't see clearly.what made me appreciate is he continued to explain instead of ignoring my question.at last,i saw.i was so happy,for my effort to come to know and Laurie's effort to make me understand were paid. he is so kind .i also learn a lot of people. one of them came from Fujian,who is a staffr in AA.maybe he has the same age with me, i'm also admire him .his english is good except for some  pronunciation mistakes.i think one day i can be better than him ,maybe teachers in GLV.That's my dream,too.;P ;P[/color]

today i find myself not nervous and shy as before, i can speak up as my teacher said. but sometimes i'm still afraid  just because i can't express myself exactly as well as i 'm afraid of making mistakes.
Vp~+@Q4k2L K In the morning, I had a nice time in the main hall. After  breakfast ,James introduced an english song which was written and sung by Marc. Marc sung this song named LOVE TO BE LOVED in his wedding ceremony to his bride.she was greatly touched .i loved it very much at once, because of not only the beautiful story but also his real feeling. James asked us to learn four or more  songs in two weeks.
iv6w ]1[ f_ ]i%d0f Z During 1:30 to 3:30 pm,i atteneded the elective class, the topic of which was "what do you think will happen to our world after 20 years". it's given by Jonathan, a Filipino. his pronunciation is a little different from ours. i can't understand him very well, but he was also   very humorous and kind.
cp;D2H;j.cq!Et t During 4 to 5 pm, i attended the workshop,the topic was "Do you want to improve your listening?'' First,we played a game in which  wu whispersd to each other a sentence, in which the words' pronunciation was similar to each other. it's so difficult to say these words. neither team won. After that, we listened to a tape about  A Remarkable Speech  by a  12-year old girl, i found myself can't catch   it and for many sentence, i even couldn't understand a word.how sad i was~! but Shelia, the teacher of this class is also from the Philipines. she speaks very smoothly. her pronunciation is perfect.since then i loved to attend her class,it's a feast for the ears!I|mmH
I'm very happy because i found a good friend,Susan. she is very kind and open. i like to talk to her. after supper, we  went around GLV.we went to a shop nearby and chatted a lot about things of our own.that's a real feeling.:@3V^iV5soN
In the evening, it's also very interesting. i went to ''free talk''which was given by Shelia. we wrote down our questions on a paper and handed it in. we had discussed every question asked by students, although can't answer all. when we talked about my question"when people fall in love with each other, why it is hard for them to to get out?" the atomosphere was higher and higher.a man told us his experience with his girl friend. it's interesting. although his english was not good enough,he tried to.during that time, he just couldn't help using Chinese, all of the class laughed. i admire him because he can speak up no matter how many mistakes he made. i should learn from him.

_T&t-w m-d3@2|:z%EM Time flies~! i don't think i have enough time to learn more about other things. what i do was just talking to people sometimes and listening to the teacher. although i have a lot of free time, i can't made full use of it. i'm confused what should i do more, talk to my friends or learning more about vocabulary or practise more reading? i want to talk to teachers, but i can't start the conversation.it's so difficult. when i saw my roommate talked with teachers, i suddenly realized that i can start the conversation by asking questions. but i don't have any deep question to ask. i am afraid if  i ask a silly question, i will be laughed at.but i still want to improve.{ Jf-?!A'j
In the morning, we leart some ways to give and ask for suggestion. and we nade a role play by each group consists of two persons.

In the workshop, i attended the CROSS CULTURE communication. we talked about the difference of cross culture communication, and each group expressed their opinions. then we each group got a topic and presented our opinions. whether what  you said was perfect or not good enough, he would praise you,like good! which gave me much confidence.:_A1w](^!^J.{p
In the evening, i joined Susan's class. she is interesting,someone in the class often played tricks on her, which drove her crazy but made people present laugh. this class was for level 2. but it didn't matter. we talked about Thailand's ladyboy, Susan's hometown Inner Mongolia,her travel path and interesting things. we also had an honour to hear a girl ang a man's singing. the man's singing was rather good, it conqured me. at last we talked about shoes, it's very popular in the world, she is very curious about it. and it's only sold in few cities in China.[/color]

Today is my fifth day in GLV, i'm so happy because i  met a new teacher --Dee.
Af$^2_.Wl In the morning, i woke up earlyt to complish my homework. after the Reading Plus, James taught us another song . it's a sad song. but i didn't have so strong feelings as before. its name is THAT'S WHY YOU GO AWAY. then i attenned the skilled based class. during the class, a photographer came in and we were taken a photo together of L5B.;QN

In the elective class, i attended the Sandra's class,whose topic was making clothes. we disscussedthe tools for making clothes and see some picture about clothes and we each drew two picture about outlet of evening and beach. in the end, i just finished a picture for evening party. from the class, i learnt a lot new words about clothes.
zF D uT,\` In the workshop, because Sally could't borrow the pots to cook, so she couldn't teach us how to cook italy food.but another topic she designed was also very interesting,too. the topic Murder Mystery. we were divided into two group,each member was given a clue of the murder and a worksheet to fill, then we will find the difference between describes of each role's statement. we must ask each other question, and if you want to find out the truth, you should be clever enough, although. i exerprienced a lot of fun from this game, i felt as if i were a real detective.hehe
3fhPU]b1d!Y It's much more interesting in my evening class. it's given by Dee. he is very young and lovely.He taught us to play a kind of card. then we talked about other things, such as if he has any girlfriends,where he is from. he is so ''childish'' and ''selfish''. i like him very much. he looks like a Chinese,because his grand-grand father was a Chinese. a classmate thougt of a kind of cardsto play, then she taught us. a student from L3 was really funny. she said a lot, but few of those were right.but she wasn't shy, she knew her grammar had a big problem, i think she's so brave to say anything whether it's wrong or right. she can ask a very interesting question. for she asked Dee:"why you change your clothes?''it's hard for us to understand what she wanted to say. do you want to wear the same clothes everyday?J:}amo%HD
