so it's better to contact them through email. And use mobile phone to contact local supplier in office. i also do part time job like you, cause i do not want to quit my current job now. but if one day , my own business needs me to work full time, i will leave my company without any delay, as one's spirit is limitted, you cannot control everything.

yes, use mobile phone is a good method. But when customer call you on working time, it's not convenient to get it. And also if go out for a talking too many times, it's not suitable. And also the boss will notify it. I don't know the boss's thought.

i am going to do part time job too,but also have this problem....

I'm facing this problem too at the moment. just to do it carefully. if cann't talk too much while the people is around you, just say i'm a little bit busy now, but i will calll you back in few minutes, then, find a good occasion to call back. but if another boss call you ......that's another problem.

I want to take a part time job too ,because my actual job have much my free time, I can arrange any schedule for myself , just like SOHO but earn moneynot for myself just for my boss ,  so funny .

me too, i'd like to do part-time job, but have no chance right now. as my opinion. after you handling all you current job smoothly. if you still have a lot of free time, then you can find part- time job to support your income. hehe, but be sure should relaxing sometime. health is most worthest thing in you life. i think someone hired you for part-time work, and you also accept it, you should make every well and control you time

I suggest that you'd better communicate  by email if you want to a part time job.

You should tell the supplier that it is not convenient for you if they call you in normal working time. Then you should use cell phone well. You can communicate with them using cellphone SMS or e-mail. There are many intelligent cellphone. We can receive/send the e-mails just like Outlook express or check the e-mails in wap sites by cellphone. If the supplier can check the e-mail easily, it will be very convenient for you by this. I have part time , pls directly discuss with the factory owner , he is only one can make the decision, I do not discuss with the export department manager of this issue , it would be waste my time .jl II,s:c
