If you wanna sure if your customer really wanna purchase goods, he will affirm to pay for the sample and transporte fee, ,,and you told him that this cost will reduce in the final order cost, that is just like he pays for the cost of samples but will compensated after ordered.

I think if the you make sure customer will place a order to u ,you can give a smile of course;or else you should say we may send a sample to u ,but the freight fee should paid by your company .

According to the situations
If we have established good business relations,we will provide free samples and freight collect, but if we do the business for the first time,I won't provide the free sample, they always should pay for it as well as the freight charge:D .Though this maybe not a good way,but i believe if someone have interests in our products indeed,he will choose to pay.

I always refuse to offer free samples. there are several reasons:G,CdP^-G4S
a. this is our company policy, I can't change it.
L`%@$I5D
b. our products(MP3,MP4,GPS) are expensive--compared with other products I mean. if the customer is really willing to do business, he should know that it is reasonable to pay for the sample.
Y(fgsD'S
c. I have received emails from some customers, who said they don't pay for the sample, but they really want samples for testing. (Note: the contents of these emails from different persons are the same!) I replied that they must pay for the sample, and when they place an order, we will deduct this part of money from the payment for their order...so that makes sense actually, it's just a matter of time.. but they never say ok, and never write me back.-P!ng"],K&of

Summary: the true customers will pay for the samples with no hesitation.

That is exactly what i do with new customers, but when it comes to the customers we've dealt with each other for long and it costs little, i will pay for , however whenever the samples fee and shipping cost is large , the customers have to pay for it no matter who they are.:lol :lol

I think what you said is right. If the customer really want to cooperate with you, he will not ask fou the free samples, and donot pay for the freight. But the market now is the buyer's market. If you do not send the samples to them, they will always not place an order with you. I am puzzled what I should do. I hope one day the market will be the seller's market.

when the customer is sincerely to get an order from you,the sample fee is just a piece of cake of him.
