Now i am in a trading company, which is a purchasing agent for some Egypt co. Our co. is small, with no more than ten peoples.:JMj+] pqlr
Usually i don't have the pressure to find new customer. There are many kinds of products, such as garment accessories, steel handle, MF box, electronic products etc.
%D,az.KyN%Yr0u*n1j In Egypt, many ftys purchase goods by tenders. One of our customers specialize in this area, for him, we need to find difficult kinds of fty, and know the HS code, drawback tax and relative policy for every product. The tender almost need long validity, three months, six months or even longer. So we have to consider the changes in these times. _/AWY!f
For products,  i am not familar with them, what i know is learned from fty and website. I think, when i left this co, i will know about how to run a small trading co.:$ ;P , and know many products' export procedure, but not speicalize in each one.W!M;Jf b:b

1.We should know a lot of our products. its specifications,photos,usage, .......The point is to know what is the advantage of our products, price or  quality ? If we can bring profit for our clients ,i wonder why will they refuse to buy our products.

2.We had better own some platform, such as alibaba and some other B2B internets.....We can make advertisement on the platform., waiting for the buuer's inquiry. Advancing the information once a week or more often. Obviously ,it is a little passive, maybe a few months later, we didn't receive any inquiry. Be patient, however, since Chance favors only the prepared mind。of course, we can take active measures.

3 Take the preemptive opportunities. Better to attact than to wait. Sending emails or fax to the clients ,introducing our products , trying to arouse their interest.  And then persuade them to place an order. 9a6ZP{9W&~

I am also a green hand on the field. Unfortunatly, I hadn't find a customer.Aithough there are some customers to inquire these days, they always disappering after I quote them.I don't know why.My price is too high? But it was given by our manager,I don't have any right to change them and even I don't have the final price.What should I do?AV0b` Y:L

I have been this line for more than 3 years, I am receipt of many inquiry from my client, I have not received a reply upon I quoted the price for them. which is so frustate for me ..I don't know how to going on the future job ?

I have not got any orders so far ,but I still believe someday I will get one.Of course ,we can't lose our decisions and find our own way to look for our own clients.:)

I am the green hand in exploring the customer. I am searching ang doing promotions on B2B platefrom  free of charge day by day .But until now, no inquiry to me. it's very bad for my present situation. My colledges got potencial customer 's inquiries, and then give them quotation without delay,but few days no information any more. Now , we are trying to adopt more efficent way -- be the golden memember of famous B2B platform , to join the speciality exhibitions. :nOx? _1xQ3a

I found the same thing, very difficult to find potential customers on free B2Bs. But with high membership fee of some famous B2Bs, such as Alibaba. I don't know whether it will paid off in the end. I'm a SOHO and do not want to throw the money into water, prefer to have some other SOHOs share on account for famous B2Bs. Anyone interest?

Because i am a green hand, i only send recommend letter to all the name cards we have but can not ,m'k;p;l9k
reply them. My manager reply to all the clients who replied our email. But after one month, i began to

so on). I'm very glad of this.

I am a green hand too. Since i came here,within one month,I only receive three enquiries altogether.But none of them turned out to be an order.in most cases our products cannot meet the clients' requirements. our compony is specialized in manufacturing ball valves. and they are of flanged ends.Sometimes the clients may need screwed ends or solenoid ones.And some times they may need gate valves or globe valves. So we can't make any quotation to them. We had suggested our boss to buy the goods for the buyers, but he said it could not benefit us./]UG HN't/S
I think to establish business relationship is more important to us than great profits because our export business has just began. We haven't got the wide foreign market open.f2s c? UV Nf.@)sW
Am I right? What's the most tough task for us now? I'll appreciate greatly if you can give me some advice.
